MAKEUP REVOLUTION ULTRA CONTOUR PALETTE

Over and over again, I keep getting asked about a good highlight/contour palette that doesn't make holes into anyone's pockets. Behold the Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette!

After the release of Kat Von D's Shade + Light Face Contour Palette, there was an overflow in the beauty market of products with a very similar theme. Most of them were high-end and expensive. The few in the drugstore that were inexpensive, lacked the quality or simply couldn't compete with the multi-hue format of KVD's. Fortunately, Makeup Revolution took notice and did something about it.

While browsing my local ULTA, I came across a small display of Makeup Revolution and this contour palette was part of it. I had already heard many great things about this brand, so I decided to give the Ultra Contour Palette a shot. #NoRegrets! I was very impressed and delighted to have gotten it.

Included in the palette are 4 highlights (2 matte, 2 shimmer), 3 contour powders (all matte), and a bronzer (satin). Every single one of them is perfectly pigmented, easy to use and blendable.

Highlight 1 → (Matte) Soft peach

Highlight 2 → (Matte) Banana

Highlight 3 → (Shimmer) Soft Apricot

Highlight 4 → (Shimmer) Light champagne with gold veining

Contour 1 → (Matte) Medium Brown [warm]

Contour 2 → (Matte) True Taupe [neutral]

Contour 3 → (Matte) Chocolate Brown [cool]

Bronzer 1 → (Satin) Bronze Brown with slight sheen [neutral]

This beautiful palette retails for $15. You can find it at any ULTA brick-and-mortar stores as well as ulta.com or the Makeup Revolution website. This palette is definitely worth every penny. The price is a steal for the quality you are getting.

On the image above, I am weraing the entire palette on my face (highlight, bronzer, and contour). This is the makeup I wore for my husband's birthday party. I love how it turned out and it lasted all evening without needing any tough-ups throughout the night. I definitely recommend the Makup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette to any of you who are looking for a good palette to purchase at low cost.
