BACK TO COLLEGE

Hi there! Long time no...read? I disappeared from the pages of this blog and from YouTube after the Fall. I am still very much alive but trying to adjust to the main new change in my life: going back to college as an adult.

Towards the end of last year, I decided it was time to go back to school. I had left my college education before getting together with the Mr. because life had just gotten too crazy for me - I was working both a full-time and a part-time job, plus was taking a full-time college workload. On top of that, things at home with my parents were not the best. I prioritized saving money to move out and ended up failing every single class that semester. Yes, I was crazy to even try... I thought I could handle all and come out on the other side unscathed. Obviously, that didn't happen.

I took a long break. By long, I mean 15-year long. Some of it was self-imposed, but the majority of the break was taken up by my sons who needed my attention all of the time when they were babies. Now that they are a bit older and a tad more self-sufficient, I actually got time to think about what I wanted to do again: School. That was the thought that kept coming back to mind. So, all this time later, here I am attending school and feeling like, well...an old fart. But an older, wiser, more focused, ready old fart. Let's see where this new adventure takes off to... ♥
